Child Protection: this has been the core of the organization. Action for Children has for over two decades promoted and strengthened the child protection system by providing pre and post abuse therapy; creating awareness on prevention of child abuse to the children as well as the communities through community dialogues, school outreaches, training of Child Protection Committees (CPCs), also in one–on–one counseling about and against child abuses; their avoidance/prevention, reporting procedures and resilience.

Education: The education programme provides an opportunity to the disadvantaged children to access education by providing affordable academic prospects. With 3 Early Childhood Development Centers and a Primary school, (at Masuliita, Wakiso district) AFC promotes and strengths the basic right of the children to education. Sponsorship opportunities are availed for those who can support a needy child to obtain an education.
